The District of Kitimat contracts the RCMP to provide police services in the community.
There are twenty-one regular police members, five municipal support staff, five on-call guards and victim service worker.
Eight police vehicles, one marine patrol vessel, two all-terrain vehicles and two snowmobiles help the officers carry out their duties in Kitimat.
